Professional, expanding and ultra-modern tech group based in York have an opportunity for a talented Senior Management Accountant (Qualified or Part Qualified).

The group is in a fantastic position - they have recently secured a range of high profile new business wins with high profile blue chip clients. The pipeline is exceptionally strong and there is exciting growth and change on the immediate horizon.

You'll be working for a talented leadership team with close proximity to the Group FC, Head of Commercial Finance and the CFO.

Your role is highly varied, you'll enjoy supporting the group management accounting, budgeting and forecasting - providing insightful variance analysis and commentary for the non finance stakeholders. You will also have chance to effectively become FC for one of the group subsidiaries - giving you chance to spread your wings and enjoy higher responsibility for a bite-sized chunk of the group.

It's a great role for someone in the York region looking for challenge, change and a development role.

• You'll be close to completion of CIMA / ACCA or have qualified.
• You need previous management accounts experience and have been involved in a element of 'business partnering' - this is a business that will encourage you to get away from your desk and out into the commercial and operational functions.
• You need to have excellent analytical ability and confidence using Excel.
• It is a collaborative and modern business. You need to be someone who can work in a team and balance ad hoc projects alongside the routine reporting deadlines.

You won't be a giant faceless cog in a corporate machine here - it's professional and structured but you'll be visible, valued and recognised for your efforts.
