Financal Controller
Colchester, Essex
up to £50,000 PA
1 YEAR CONTRACT
Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and management of the Accounts department ensuring all professional development needs are met
Oversee the Accounts and Payroll functions, ensuring adequate training and guidance is provided and the team are supported in their tasks
Complete and prepare year end procedures on the financial system and provide advice for housekeeping procedures
Being able to interpret and monitor cash flows and predict future trends, analyse changes and report accordingly
Liaise with auditors to ensure regular monitoring is carried out and the legal entities remain compliant with audit and GAAP requirements
Maintain and developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. other group finance departments, auditors, banks and statutory organisations such as the Inland RevenueBackground and Skill
Proven experience in a Finance Manager role (or similar)
Qualifications desirable but not essential
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Able to produce accurate information first time
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Ability to work using own initiative and with others
