The company has experienced significant expansion to over £30m turnover and has further exponential growth plans.
Financial Controller
Permanent - Office Based
Stockton on Tees
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
The company has a newly created financial controller role. This is an opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant to work with a small accounts team operating strategically alongside ambitious and entrepreneurial management in a rapidly expanding business.
Key role responsibilities
* To identify and improve existing financial processes and controls within the company.
* To produce management information and budgeting on a regular basis.
* To deliver tight cash controls and forecasting.
* To manage foreign currency, hedging, import and export transactions.
* To work closely with the Managing Director on strategic financial planning.
* To work closely with key external financial stakeholders.
Candidate experience
The position requires an experienced ambitious Financial Controller who enjoys working as part of friendly professional team.
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant. Ideally, 5+ years post-qualification.
Strong knowledge of Sage Line 50 is essential.
Excel and forecasting experience is essential
