An excellent permanent opportunity is available with a multi-award-winning financial services firm based in Cheltenham for an Investment Operations Analyst to join the business to assist with a broad range of duties. The business are currently operating a hybrid working pattern, three office days and two remote days once training has being completed on-site.

Some shift rotation may be required at times (a later start and finish) and standard working hours are 8:30am until 5:30pm.

Role

Responsibilities:

• Providing administrative support to discretionary fund managers through set daily processes by following predefined workflow and guidance notes always ensuring compliant
• Undertaking other adhoc tasks including executing FXs, reviewing client agreements/forms, running management fees and performance
• Liaising with clients directly via a client portal to address requests/queries within agreed timescales and other departments
• Processing and validating static data within our system and running various controls throughout the day
• Reconciling cash, stock and trades on a daily basis
• Executing funds and settling trades
• Processing transfer requests from our clients including all stock and cash transfers by liaising with various counterparties
• Allocating funds received to the correct underlying client, or transferring cash out whilst adhering to strict parameters
• Processing dividends received from the market and applying the correct tax rates
• Processing and uploading transaction reports through an Approved Reporting Mechanism
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of company procedures and policies and completing compliance training in a timely manner

The Investment Operations Analyst will possess some experience within an investment operations setting within the financial services sector, ideally with a level of understanding of investments. An understanding of CASS would be beneficial, and you will have an excellent attention to detail. You will have experience of having worked in fast paced environments, have a high level of initiative and have ability to communicate in various mediums in an efficient manner.
