We are Global Shared Service Center providing Accounting, VAT, Tax, Payroll, HR, and other professional services within the Automotive Industry.

Work Base:
This role is currently remote working due to COVID-19. Howevere there is currently a requirment to be within the office in Basildon twice a month.

Hours of Work:

Full time (37.5 hours per week)
7:30am to 16.30pm Monday to Thursday with a 45 minute lunch7:30am to 12:00pm on a Friday with no lunch break.


Contract to Permanment - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - this is a permanent position within the company. The role will be extended for the right canidate.

Job Purpose:

The resource will be part of the Payroll Department and will be in charge of various payroll administrative activities and will be responsible to provide efficient, effective, customer focussed advice and support for the full range of Payroll activities.

Principal Accountabilities:

    Be the front-end for the internal clients dealing with HR and Finance queries.Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.Liaising with the software provider for completion of monthly payrolls, dealing with queries and assisting with calculations.Answering payroll queries on monthly payroll.Administration of the time and attendance system.Producing month end finance reports.Producing monthly pension reports for providers and finance teams.Producing year end pension reports to provide to the schemes.Assisting in the production of P11ds at year end.Some HR Admin, e.g. employee references. Comply with Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR requirements in all working practices. maintaining confidentiality, integrity, availability, accuracy, currency and security of information as appropriate. Take personal responsibility for all personal data within own working environment.Such other duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required, commensurate with your job role.

  • Experience of working in a payroll/HR/Finance environment
  • Experience of working to tight, fixed deadlines
  • Experience in a high volume transactional environment
  • Experience of working with confidential information
  • Proven experience of resolving problems independently or through support of the team
  • Experience of producing and maintaining P11d data
  • Previous exposure to payroll software implementation/upgrade and/ or to projects
  • Experience of working for multiple payroll clients
  • Experience of using Resource Link payroll Software
