This role will join the Finance and Accounting team and will be an individual contributor role focusing on global accounting close, audit and various statutory local compliance and other accounting initiatives.


Play a lead role in monthly global accounting close process including preparing journal entries, expense accruals, account reconciliations and flux analysis.Assist in support of the Companys external audits (and any quarterly or other interim reviews) for the consolidated company, and several foreign subsidiaries.Assist in the drafting of monthly statutory financial statements and accompanying footnotes and assist with multiple STAT audit and filings. Act as SME (subject matter expert) in local GAAP accounting rules and US GAAP differences.Advise and implement internal controls related to the local GAAP reporting process in support of managements and the external auditors assessment of internal controls over financial reporting.Coordinate GL activities with the shared services team.Participate in implementation of new and evolving accounting standards under local GAAP.Aassist with special projects, process improvements and due diligence process for acquisitions.Mentor and review the work of less experienced accountants.YOU HAVE:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, 3-5 years experience in a large global company.Equivalent experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement.Strong knowledge of US and local GAAP.Expertise with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills. The ability and readiness to embrace and successfully drive/implement change.Process optimization skills - vision with the ability to apply practical solutions and navigate through ambiguity.Confidence operating within a dynamic, complex organizational structure and able to be flexible and collaborate with team on different projects and needs.
