My client are a leading company in their industry, they are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to enable them to focus on a period of growth and secure key supplier contracts. My clients most recent turnover was in excess of £50m but they are looking to increase this by circa 20% in the coming fiscal year.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical with strong business partnering/stakeholder management skills who is looking for a number 2 role in a growing but established business.

What will I be doing?

• Budgeting, forecasting & Financial Analysis
• Supporting bid activity, providing bid Financial information to Business units
• Recommending improvements to business processes
• Finance project management
• Supporting business change & Continuous improvement programmes
• Supporting & Managing Internal & External Audits
• Supervision of small finance team

What do I need to do the role?

• You will need to be a Qualified Accountant with 3 years plus PQE.
• You will have Line management experience, and
• A sound knowledge of regulatory standards IFRS/GAAP.
• Knowledge of bid accounting
• Experience of government funding initiatives
