COMPANY BACKGROUND

Our client is a leading and very well-established international outsourced accounting practice with an impressive portfolio of UK and overseas clients servicing a wide variety of industry sectors.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to continued expansion, they wish to recruit a Director to work alongside several departments and a number of key individuals, primarily at manager to partner level.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Servicing a portfolio of overseas-owned clients ranging from subsidiaries of listed groups, VC and PE backed entities

* Providing an efficient, client focused and proactive service to meet client's needs

* Assisting the senior leadership team with the running the team from a staffing perspective

* Owning relationships relating to outsourcing services with a significant portfolio of clients

* Coaching, mentoring and appraising more junior members of the team to develop their client management skills

* Ensuring that the company's risks are managed appropriately.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

* ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified

* Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in any second language is an advantage but not essential

* Capability to work independently at director level and demonstrate leadership ability and management experience

* Demonstrate a strong commitment and ability to deliver the highest level of client service

* Experience of delivering services to internationally expanding groups

* Ability to prioritise workloads with multiple deadlines

* Skills to supervise and develop staff

* A "can do" attitude and willingness to tackle a range of client issues

* Strong delivery skills and ability to work effectively to deadlines
