The Job:

Due to increasing growth, a successful construction company based in Sheffield are looking to bolster their finance team with the addition of an accounts assistant. Operating at a turnover of sub £50 million, the business requires an individual who is hard working and enthusiastic to take on this full time position.

The Role:

The role as accounts assistant will integrate into the present finance team to cover all aspects of accountancy such as payroll as well as sales and purchase ledger aspects and month end. Excellent organisational skills, with a key eye for detail and the ability to act on self-initiative are key to success within this position

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Reconciliation and processing of invoices
• Placing purchase orders
• Dealing with expenses/petty cash
• Arranging and management of customer direct debits
• Producing invoices for customers
• Dealing with PAYE and reporting tax to HMRC
• Resolving payslip and working hours discrepancies
• Compiling monthly and quarterly end processes
