Jenson Fisher are delighted to be engaged by a growing Accountancy Practice in Glasgow to recruit an Accounts Assistant, on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic team and progress their career.

The main duties:

• Preparing sole trader, partnership and Limited Company accounts to a high standard
• Preparing annual statutory accounts
• Preparing and reviewing corporation and personal tax returns
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Managing workload to ensure deadlines are met whilst always maintaining a high level of service
• Bookkeeping duties

The main requirements:

• Accountancy Practice experience is essential
• Experience of accounts preparation is essential
• Sage and Xero experience is preferred
• Ability to manage and develop existing client relationships
• Be confident in working to tight deadlines effectively
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong IT skills
