Payroll Specialist
The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our award-winning Payroll team based in Ipswich.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing Payrolls as well as responding to both colleague and manager queries that arise.

Main responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:
- Effectively manage the company's Time & Attendance and Payroll system by ensuring that new starters and changes to colleague details are updated within payroll deadlines.
- Support the Payroll Team in being first line of support in dealing with basic pay queries.
- Support the payroll processes of multiple monthly payrolls and discuss pay variances with managers.
- Input and check new starter and leaver details.
- Liaise with third parties as necessary, such as HMRC, Court Orders etc.
- Assist with monthly Pension processes.
The Payroll Specialist will have the following skills:
- Excellent computer literacy skills including the ability to learn new systems.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, along with having a sensitive and professional manner.
- Highly organised and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Experience of payroll processing
