A leading private equity firm are looking to make a newly created 'junior business manager' hire into its London hub office.
This is a stand-alone role focused on the firm's special situations & direct lending businesses - it sits between the fund accounting / operations teams and the deals process / investments teams in these areas. The focus is on oversight & analysis of operations tasks that are performed both in-house and externally + stakeholder/relationship management in managing the deals process and plugging the 'gap' to the investment teams (between operations & the deals process).
We are looking at candidates from operations / middle office / fund accounting / fund administration backgrounds, that will likely want to move away from a line role and into something more strategic. Candidates will most likely have 2-5yrs experience. We have a strong preference for special sits experience, albeit direct lending is highly desirable and failing that we are happy to consider a private credit generalist. Front office facing experience.
The role will cap at an 80k max base salary. A top performer will achieve a large proportion of his/her base as a bonus.
