An opportunity has become available for a driven and forward-thinking management accountant to join a fantastic automotive organisation West Midlands region. The successful candidate will be responsible for both finance and other areas of business administration; to prepare and provide appropriate financial information to both internal and external stakeholders and to work alongside other departments to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities for the Management Accountant
Working with senior management to oversee the financial management of the plant, ensuring a robust budgeting process and effective management of investment and costs. Ensure the integrity, relevance and security of financial and related systems and processes and for improving these systems in line with changing requirements. Preparing monthly management accounts and completion of monthly reporting package for Head Office Annual financial report and accounts, dealing with auditors and tax advisors and drafting appropriate documentation for Board of Directors meeting and Annual General Meetings. Responsible for submission of VAT returns and PAYE settlement agreements and dealing with administration of corporation tax and ex-patriate tax affairs.
Key essentials of the Management Accountant
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Computer and IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software Experience within a manufacturing or automotive is desirable Excellent people management skills
