An opportunity has become available for a financially analytical Commercial and Project Accountant to join a successful manufacturing in the Coventry area. The ideal candidate will be somebody who can demonstrate strong business partnering skills and the ability to improve stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities for the Commercial and Project Accountant
Support the preparation of 3-year plans via implementing rolling budgets and sales forecasting
Engage with commercial team and make visible restrictive and capacity factors in the Commercial roadmap resource planning
Update and manage the IFS portals for all Innovate projects
Introduce probability, risk and sensitivity to forecasting models
Attend project reviews with Project Co-ordinator team. Present outcomes and consolidated numbers e.g., by project type, customer to FC and Commercial mgmt. team
Key essentials of the Commercial and Project Accountant
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Computer and IT literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Finance Applications (e.g., ERP)
A strong grasp of budgetary control and preparing management accounts
