Sheridan Maine are currently supporting a leading National organisation, who urgently require a Project Accountant to join their team, this requirement will be either on a Permanent or Interim basis and will be working remotely with occasional visits to the office in Somerset.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work closely with the project managers and contracts team to drive the project level capex reporting and cashflow forecasting on a monthly basis.
Your core responsibilities will include:
• Overall responsibility for project level capex out-turn forecasting
• Cashflow forecasting for various capital projects
• Working alongside the Development team to support the capex modelling of new capital projects
• Champion the adoption of the Capex controls framework, seeking to improve data quality and data capture through the project delivery stage
• Liaise with other teams to continually improve system information and ensure accuracy of transactional records
• Prepare ad hoc analysis as required
What you will need to be great for this role:
• The successful candidate could be qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or have relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong Financial and analytical experience and experience of working with large data sets
• Organisational and planning skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Process driven, ability to suggest and implement improvements and efficiencies
• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders
