My client is a SME organisation based near Edinburgh who has an exciting opportunity for a junior analyst to join their analytical team.

This is an ideal opportunity if you have graduated with a numerical related degree and have a year to two years experience within an analytical field.

Essential
Experience working as a Data Analyst
2:1 honours degree or above in Mathematics or a related analytical subject
Experience in creating reports for BI purposes
Advanced Microsoft Access and Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication skills and strong organisational skills
Experience in manipulating large volume data sets
Highly numerate & analytical with a good attention to detail
Theoretical understanding of databases and database tables
Experience of data selection from consumer data
Experience of carrying out segmentation and split testing

Desirable
Knowledge of a data visualisation tool such as Qlik or Tableau
Functional HTML knowledge
Experience utilising consumer classification systems such as Mosaic, Acxiom etc
Knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations
