Description

The main day to day duties of the Assistant Management Accountant are as follows:

  • To assist with monitoring performance against income and expenditure budgets,
  • Investigating variances and producing key financial information in a timely manner
  • To be actively involved in the preparation of revenue and budgets
  • To provide financial advice to management and to attend regular meetings
  • Reconciliations
  • To co-ordinate the maintenance, production and distribution of budget statements
  • Reporting and analysis
  • To contribute to the development of financial systems
  • To perform any other duties as required by the management

Profile

The successful applicant will ideally possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt and change
  • Strong IT skills
  • An eye for reporting and analysis
  • Organised and efficient
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
  • AAT qualification (or relevant equivalent experience/studying towards)
