The XP Power Financial Planning & Analysis function are looking for a graduate who is interested in pursuing a career in finance to join their team in Pangbourne.

The analyst will be part of a small team providing a support framework to the Group’s Product Management & Product Development functions working across all parts of the product lifecycle.

You will be supported to gain recognised financial qualifications (CIMA/ACCA) via Apprenticeship Levy, with time and support provided to complete your studies alongside working full time.

> KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support the Senior Finance Business Partner is providing partnering to the Group’s Product Management and Product Development teams in all aspects of Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis

· Help to provide analysis to support better driver/variance/trend analysis to support understanding future business requirements and impact on the Group’s departments

· Support Product managers in preparing business cases for new product opportunities

· Support the forecast and budgets processes for Product functions

· Support the collation and review of monthly commentary

· Work closely with the Financial control team/Business support to implement improvements in the month end processes and enhance the quality of reporting and controls to necessary standards

> Key Qualifications and Skills
· Degree + significant interest in career in finance

· Willingness to complete professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA)

· Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Advanced Excel

· Ability to understand the interrelationships between key drivers and data across systems

· Ability to extract and analyse multiple sources and large volumes of data

· Excellent attention to detail

· Ability to work to tight deadlines
