The Department of Premier and Cabinet has an exciting opportunity available for an exceptional Business Analyst to join the Digital, Design and Innovation (DDI) branch.
DDI focuses on delivering digital projects, accessible open data, information services, website content and social media strategies, as well as managing products used across the Whole of Victorian Government.
The Business Analyst will play a key role in the Single Digital Presence (SDP) team. SDP is a web transformation program that is consolidating government websites and making it easier to find, understand and use Victorian government information online.
As the Business Analyst, you will draw on your digital background and technical know-how to help drive success from idea to delivery.
You will be required to continuously examine the business environment and address issues or opportunities within SDP's projects. This consistent approach of continuous improvement will be integral to the overall program.
On a day-to-day basis, you will use your highly developed stakeholder management skills to work closely with a variety of teams across DPC to apply Business Analysis best practice.
You will be a strategic thinker with a clear ability to hit the ground running and provide thought leadership on complex problems in a fast paced digital environment.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

* Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Technical Analyst and/or Product Owner (certifications preferred) in an Agile environment.
* Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills
* Well-developed people management skills
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
* Experience working directly with developers and collaboratively in cross discipline teams on complex digital projects
