Description

As Management Accountant, your duties will include:

• Accurate reporting of financial performance for the division
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Coordination of month end processes to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner
• Reporting, analysis and commentary on performance against plans and forecasts
• Reporting and analysis of performance, liaising with wider finance team
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and actively involved in forecasting processes
• Business partnering wider non-finance teams to provide financial support and ensure clear communication at all times, ensuring timely escalation of any issues or risks to relevant parties
• Ensuring all accounting policies and practices are adhered to
• Liaison with external auditors and advisors, providing analysis and accurate explanation when required
• To identify and implement process improvement opportunities
• To engage with wider teams acting as a support and bridge to the finance team
• Ad hoc project work
• Other ad hoc tasks to support the wider finance team

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Excellent technical, analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Well organised with high attention to detail
• Approachable with the ability to coach and support other team members
• Strong stakeholder management - comfortable liaising with non-finance stakeholders
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Driven and motivated to succeed
