Description

The Finance Business Partner role for this leading Logistics Supply Chain and Distribution business will be responsible for:

• Support Finance Manager for all aspects of the Financial reporting

• Financial data collection, analysis and interaction with non-financial subject area experts to identify key operational and financial trends

• Detailed financial analysis and cost analysis providing insightful reports and presentations to non finance stakeholders periodically and on ad hoc basis

• Month end: calculation and posting of accruals, prepayments and recharges and prepping balance sheet analysis and invoicing

• Close working relationship with most members of the existing Finance team; also other stakeholders: suppliers, Commercial, Fleet Ops team.

• Analysis of financial and non-financial metrics

• Month end accounting and reporting

• Prepping for and presenting at monthly client meetings

Profile

The successful applicant for this Finance Business Partner role in the Coventry area needs confidence in communicating complex financial data to non finance stakeholders and a strong analytical mindset. The ability to interrogate and identify commercial insight is essential with either previous experience or the understanding of financial requirements being most important. Strong Excel skills and a dedication to continuing professional studies would be preferred.
