Description
The key responsibilities for this Tax Partner position at a leading accountancy firm based in Newport are:
- Working alongside the firm's partners on tax planning and advisory work
- Providing technical and marketing support to the managing partner to expand the tax service offering
- Managing a team of staff, reviewing work and supporting their development
- Actively pursuing new business opportunities and representing the firm at business events
Profile
In order for candidates to be successful when applying for this Tax Partner role at a leading accountancy firm in Newport, you must be:
- CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified Tax Manager or Director, who has 10 years' post-qualification experience
- Corporate tax background with strong experience of owner managed businesses and SME related tax planning gained within a top 50 firm, large regional practice or tax consultancy firm.
- Delivering technical solutions with a commercial focus
- Broad awareness of all areas of tax
