Our client are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent, part-time basis.

Our client, a growing organisation based in Bournemouth, are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent, part-time basis.

Description

As the Accounts Payable Assistant your key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage Purchase Ledger
  • Complete preparation of payment runs
  • Deal with supplier queries
  • Reconcile to supplier statement regularly
  • Complete bank rec keying on a weekly basis
  • Process payments and update payment spreadsheet
  • Keep petty cash records and reconcile monthly
  • Ad-hoc duties

Profile

To be successful for the Accounts Payable Assistant role you will have:

  • Completed or be working towards your AAT, or QBE
  • Solid bookkeeping experience
  • Understanding of AP and AR
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills

Job Offer

Flexible working hours - 22.5 hours p/w, 3 days per week

Salary - £21,000 - £22,000 FTE
