As the Payroll Officer, you will be integral in both supervising and administering a timely, accurate and efficient Payroll process.

My client is a well-established organisation based in the Brighton area. Currently Working From Home, but they will return to a Hybrid working environment long-term. The location is slightly outside of city centre, but can be accessed via car or public transport with ease, and parking is available on site.

Description

As the Payroll Officer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and administer the timely, accurate and efficient processing of payroll
• Supervise the timely and accurate administration of pension-related and other employee benefits and undertake processing and/or administrative tasks as required.
• Manage the provision of an efficient and customer-focused pay and pensions helpline and advisory service
• Manage the performance and development of direct reports.

Profile

To be successful in your application for Payroll Officer, you should have:

• Significant in-house Payroll experience
• Up to date knowledge of legislation and statutory requirements relating to Pay and Pension
• Knowledge of SSP, SMP, SPP etc
• Meticulous attention to detail
• iTrent experience is highly advantageous
