Our client is a c. £10 million turnover manufacturing business in North Nottingham / North Derbyshire near Pinxton. The finance team of 4 is friendly, stable and well established.

Description

As Assistant Accountant you will be working as part of a small and friendly team. Your duties will be very varied, but will mainly be focused upon purchase ledger. Once you have received the necessary training your duties will include:

• Processing c. 200-300 purchase invoices per month
• Processing POs
• Matching invoices to delivery notes
• Sending out invoices
• Cash ledger entry
• Dealing with invoice queries
• Credit control
• Dealing with invoice queries

Due to the size of the finance team there may be the opportunity to get involved in other duties outside of the above.

Profile

To be considered for this role you do not need experience of all of the above duties, as training will be provided where necessary. However, you must:

• have experience of working in finance
• have experience of working in purchase ledger
• be a good team player
