Payroll Clerk
The Recruitment Network are recruitment specialists sourcing opportunities for temporary and permanent staff throughout New Zealand.
We looking for a dynamic Payroll and Accounts Clerk, to join the Payroll team.
This role requires you to think on your feet; you leave no stone unturned and can juggle many balls and once - and catch them!
Key responsibilities of the role:
•Overall responsibility for the day to day administration of our payroll
•Maintaining payroll files, timesheets and staff files
•Ensuring the timely approval and collection of timesheets from sites
•Compliance review and followup where required
•Liaise with Clients and Staff where required
•Reconciliation within Xero
About you:
•Ability to think on your feet, and support a dynamic and successful team of people
•Robust understanding of payroll
•Strong ability with numbers
•Strong general computer skills including word and excel
•Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously and to strict deadlines
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•You will need to be self-motivated and incredibly organised with outstanding attention to detail
•A collaborative mindset
The hours will be set around 8.30am - 5.30pm but occasionally can change due to demands on the business.
