We are looking for a full-time payroll administrator to join our team, processing a weekly payroll or 100+ employees. You will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support, which will involve preparing and processing weekly payroll and processing employee details.

We offer temporary and Permanent recruitment services, as well as structured, motivated, Managed Labour Teams. Through our sister company Max Projects, we deliver Carpentry work packages in the Civil, Commercial and Residential Sectors throughout New Zealand.
We are looking for a full-time payroll administrator to join our team, processing a weekly payroll or 100+ employees. You will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support, which will involve preparing and processing weekly payroll and processing employee details.
The duties of the role are but are not limited to:
- Processing a high volume of weekly payroll
- Answering employees and managers queries around payroll procedures, laws and taxes.
- Process staff changes, including onboarding, offboarding and internal movements
- Maintain and ensure that employee records are kept accurate and up to date
- Preparation of banking payments for payroll, creditors and a wide range of taxes.
- Liaising with clients & The Inland Revenue Department
- Process backpay and one-off adjustments
- Experience with MYOB Advanced / IMS Payroll software is an advantage.
- Experience with processing high volume payroll (including salaried and waged staff).
- Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and time management skills
- Strong administration skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the holiday's act and payroll legislation.
- You will have proven communication skills.
