Large finance organisation embarking on an ambitious and exciting transformation journey, on the hunt for a Senior Data Migration Analyst

The Role

Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be the key driver behind the successful migration of data from a legacy platform to a cloud solution. Seen as critical to the successful delivery of the project, the Senior Data Migration Analyst will lead the end-to-end process to ensure data is migrated successfully

Duties

• Planning and oversight of data mapping specifications, including translating and transformation of data to target system data tables in conjunction with system developers
• Compilation, creation and implementation of business rules for data and data translations
• Define data cleansing rules & procedures
• Identification and closure of data gaps
• Writing and execution of test plans and testing
• Stakeholder and vendor relationships and management

Skills & Experience

• Seasoned and experienced in data migration in large, complex organisations
• Advanced excel and/or SAS skills to enable handling of large data sets
• Strong skills in data mapping, data translation, impact identification, process design, and documentation.
• Experience with databases and knowledge of cloud storage technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Banking, finance, or payment experience an advantage.
