Job Purpose

Tax Technologist, will be responsible for the set-up of our global clients into tax technology tooling and ongoing support and optimization of technology, process, and project management methods to ensure effective tax compliance.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Technical design, configuration, testing and documentation for set up for tax compliance within tax technology tool.
• Maintain, monitor, improve and troubleshoot existing tax support tooling
• Documentation of Tax Technology requirements, processes, and procedures and training
• Issue tracking and resolution
• Key team member of cross-functional projects and initiatives to define, document and maintain tax compliance, governance, and standardization
• Ability to work under pressure with proven flexibility in changing and complex environments.
• Maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders worldwide.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Management, or relevant field 
• Ability to understand and process tax calculation discussions and use such inputs to provide an operating platform for processing tax information
• 1+ years’ experience in configuration and maintenance of indirect tax systems for multiple countries
• Working knowledge of Taxually or equivalent tax technology platform and proven ability to customise databases to process in said platform
• Knowledge of advanced Excel  
• Knowledge and previous experience in SAP in Tax Accounting-Compliance area. (Highly desirable)
• Agile Methodology, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Macros (Desirable)
• Precision and attention to details, being inquisitive, diligent, investigative, and well-organized
• Analytical, inquisitive, proactive, and willing to learn and welcome new challenges
• Highly collaborative, team oriented, good communication and writing skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and concurrently manage multiple responsibilities
