Page Personnel have a new Purchase Ledger Supervisor opportunity available to join a successful manufacturing business based in Wakefield.

Client Details

This manufacturing business are market leaders in their field and they have a strong customers base across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a purchase ledger clerk to gain supervisory experience and join a business that will continually invest in their development.

Description

While reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing two purchase ledger clerks and assisting with the processing of the purchase ledger. Also your duties will include, however will not limited to, Coding of invoices, dealing with any supplier queries, processing payments, managing and maintaining the Purchase Ledger inbox, VAT Returns, assisting with the month end reporting and other adhoc duties as required.

This role would be suited to someone with experience in a similar position who is looking to join a growing business with lots of potential to develop in the future.

Profile

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel and Sage
  • Numerical with a basic understanding of accounting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all level
  • Collaborative with the ability to work across functionally both internally and externally

Job Offer
