This position prepares complete and accurate monthly general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, financial statements and other financial reports following generally accepted accounting practices and procedures.

• Prepares ledgers, journals, registers and subsidiary records in conformance with a uniform system of accounting.
• Prepares month and year-end financial and statistical reports.
• Assist auditors during the annual audit of the accounting records.
• Prepare and distribute miscellaneous reports as required and ensure that all reports are timely compiled and delivered to the immediate supervisor.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE GL ACCOUNTANT:

BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
2+ years General Accounting
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
