Group Accountant
Your new company
AIM listed business with ambitious growth plans over the next three years. With the business continuing to rapidly expand it is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and skilled Group Accountant to take responsibility for a wide range of finance tasks. You will work alongside two other Group Accountants, reporting into the Group Reporting Manager.
Your new role
Working with key stakeholders you will work closely with the Group Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller in a wide range of finance tasks for the group. You will also work with two other Group Accountants in the team.
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Maintain purchase and sales ledger
- Perform bank and other reconciliations
- Prepare group cashflow forecasts
- Group accounting and consolidation
- Liaise with banks, auditors, divisional finance teams
- Assist with the integration of new acquisitions to the Group
- Review and implementing policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of interim and year-end accounts
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a high achiever with a 2:1 or above from a top University. You will be either ACA or CA qualified with some exposure to Group accounting practices (this is preferred, not essential). You will have qualified from a top 10 accounting practice.
