Salary/Package: £45,000 per annum + 5% Bonus and comprehensive benefits



Location:
Daventry 2 to 3 days a week with flexibility for some remote working


Role Profile


Arqiva spends circa £70 Million per annum on Utility costs which include rent, rates and energy across a portfolio our 3000+ sites, 5000+ site meters and 20,000+ customer sub metering points. As a Data Business Analyst you will elicit and analyse data to support accuracy of costs and recharge methodologies, develop and enhance trend mechanisms and drive process automation.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Establishing & Documenting recharge methodologies & creating auditable data trails related to recharge to third parties
  • Collecting and maintaining accuracy of data kept within Arqiva's Estate databases relating to Power, Rent and Rates
  • Analysis of all incoming and outgoing billing to ensure accuracy
  • Cost modelling, Revenue Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Actively investigating and analysing data for errors and anomalies
  • Implementing appropriate remediation processes to avoid data issues reoccurring
  • Developing processes and scripts/tools, and be the expert user of current tools, utilising these to extract, validate and process the data to support the team's activities
  • Documenting processes showing you have a keen eye for implementing automation
  • Acting as Liaison between Estates and Finance functions
  • Acting as Primary liaison with Data & Insights team


Must haves


  • Track record of developing processes and analysing significant data sets in a commercial environment.
  • Experience & understanding of Financial Budgeting and Modelling
  • Data management, migration, quality control and database skills
  • Experience with developing and implementing automation tools.
  • Proven experience creating and supporting contents of your reporting


Might haves


  • Proven VBA and relational database usage
  • Experience working within the energy/utilities industry
