A fantastic organisation based in Nottingham city centre have a new opportunity to join their small and friendly finance team.

This role will either teach you the ropes or if you already have some finance experience build on these skills with 1:1 guidance and support.

Once trained up your responsibilities will include purchase and sales ledger administration, employee expenses, monitoring the accounts inbox, weekly payment runs, reconciliations, managing purchase orders and supporting the financial controller (an experienced qualified Accountant who will be there for training and guidance throughout your role) to name a few tasks. This is a growing and changing business with a small finance team which will offer the chance to get involved in more in the future once you have mastered the basics of your role and progressed through your studies. This is a role to make your own, taking on more duties from the Assistant Accountant in future.

This role will be a mixture of office and home working. The office environment is very nice and close to local shops with good public transport links.

There will be full AAT study support.

This role is suitable for either an AAT studier with some finance experience or a recent graduate who perhaps studied a different subject but would like a career in finance now. It is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn/progress/study.
