A long time client of ours based in Milton Keynes who is boasting record revenues in the Engineering sector are looking to bring a technical Assistant Management Accountant to bolster their finance team. The successful Assistant Management Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager with a primary focus on the Management Accounts.

Description
The key responsibilities for the Assistant Management Accountant:
- Preparing the monthly management accounts including accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for VAT across multiple countries and multiple deadlines
- Organising weekly payment runs
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Supporting junior team members
- Assisting budget preparation
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Keeping company compliance relevant
- Collaborating with the team Analyst
Profile
Describing the Assistant Management Accountant:
- Ideally studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Advance Excell - ideally Pivot tables/ Vlookups
- A true self starter
- Strong communicator both written and verbal
- Previous experience assisting management accounts would be advantageous
- Have experienced a fast paced environment
