The main purpose of this role will be to support the Financial Controller with making improvements to financial processes that support the Group's financial strategies and reporting.To offer robust and effective financial support across the organisation. They will be supporting the Financial Controller in the preparation of the groups external reporting including statutory accounts, strategic and Value for Money reporting.
The successful candidate will be supporting with the production of subsidiary annual financial statements for external audit, reporting to Board Committees and external filing as required. They will also assist with Group VAT and tax returns for consolidation/external submission to statutory bodies and maintain GL reconciliations.
They will be integral to ensuring that consistent procedures, systems and methods of working are employed to enable the organisations consolidations of management information including key financial performance indicators, budgets, forecasts and plans. The post holder will also support the Financial Controller in the production and management of the group's business plan and the production of subsidiary business plans.
