Description

Reporting to the Statutory Reporting Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:


  • Preparing the financial statements of the UK subsidiary statutory accounts ensuring that any new reporting requirements, group accounting policies and accounting standards are correctly reflected in the financial statements.
  • Acting as a key contact for the external auditors on the subsidiary statutory accounts including liaising with the auditors on technical queries and supporting the business contacts where required.
  • Working with the business, the Governance team and the external auditors to ensure a robust project plan and good quality outputs for the UK subsidiary statutory accounts.
  • Support on the interpretation and assessment of new technical accounting standards and the disclosure requirements for the financial statements. Communicate and cascade new requirements to the business to ensure the correct information is collected for inclusion in the financial statements.
  • Supporting in the preparation of the Group financial statements in line with UK listing rules, the interim financial statements, analysis required for presentation purposes, as well as preparing finance sections of the Annual Report.
  • Support on the production of the consolidated statutory cashflow statement and the consolidated funds flow statement published in the plc financial statements.

  • Profile

    The successful candidate will be:

    • a qualified chartered accountant with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience;
    • experience of producing multiple complex subsidiary statutory accounts (required);
    • industry / sector experience is not essential for this role;
    • able to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and teams;
    • Well organised, resilient and flexible.

    Job Offer
