Job Details

Accounts Administrators will find themselves filling managerial roles via overseeing an accounting staff, this could include assigning duties to staff members as well as evaluating and training them.

Accounts Administrators are responsible for receiving and verifying billing and requisitions for goods and services.

Client Details

The Accounts Administrator will support 2 critical departments within a dealership company; Accounts and Sales Administration, so we are looking for someone that likes a challenge and who is always wanting to learn new things.

Description

  • Ensure accurate and complete processing and recording in all accounts and administrative matters.
  • Ensure that accounting and administrative records remain confidential, are accurately maintained and updated daily.
  • Take part in and help to maintain the dealership's system of internal control.
  • Alert management to any concerns, internal control issues and irregularities.
  • Taxing new and used cars
  • Invoicing new and used cars and preparing appropriate manufacturer handover packs
  • Raising payment requisitions for straight purchases and part exchange settlements
  • Checking updates on new cars
  • Ordering, updating, invoicing and taxing fleet and direct supply deals
  • Helping with FCA audits

Profile

  • Highly motivated
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Very competent IT skills including excel and word
  • Highly organised with ability to time manage
  • Experience of working within a similar role is essential
  • HNC/HND in Accounting would be beneficial
