• Support investment/venture management team to effectively manage deal flow
• Conduct extensive and deep due diligence and prepare investment proposals for supervisory board
• Manage deal execution together with legal
• Be actively involved in the whole jump-start process after having incubated or acquired a treatment
• Oversee our portfolio ventures and prepare reports for management
• Produce ad hoc financial, industry, and competitive analyses for ATAI and subsidiary venture management
• At later stage companies: support with strategic challenges and/or raising of additional funds via private or public financing rounds

• Outstanding academic track-record from a top-tier university (neuroscience exposure is a plus)
• 6-10 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, top-tier consulting and/or investment banking
• Highly analytical mindset
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Superb Project Management and MS Office Skills (especially Excel)
• Experience in biotech or life sciences is a strong plus
• Strong track record in contributing to cross-functional teams in advancing projects
• High empathy with an outstanding ability to work multi-culturally
• Willing to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment with limited direction, go the extra mile and to adapt to new situations as they arise
