Community Advisor
The main purpose of the role is to undertake telephone call appointments and/or home visits to gather financial information and evidence from clients to support the financial assessment process for care services and to advise clients on the charging process, then to carry out the completion of financial assessments.
To provide advice to clients on potential benefits they can claim and how to access additional follow up assistance with the Pension Service and other agencies.
We are looking for someone who has excellent computer and communication skills to liaise with our clients or their representatives and care management teams.
The successful candidate will be customer focused, organised and able to work independently but also work collaboratively and be a supportive team player.
An up to date knowledge of benefits would be an advantage but training will be provided as appropriate.
