Assistant Management Accountant / Worthing / Finance & Accountancy
Client Details
A well respected Worthing based employer are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Description
As Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for supporting the team to ensure that all weekly and monthly outputs in relation to:
o Subcontractor payments
o Purchase ledger invoicing and statement reconciliations
o Sales Invoicing
o Cash allocation and bank reconciliation
o Daily cash posting
o Debt control
- Creation of sales numbers
- Ensuring that figures are checked; accurate and in line with group policies
- Oversee CIS payments
- Oversee debt control
- Oversee daily cash postings
- Produce, review and analyse the inputs to the job costing for the business to ensure that they are accurate; review anomalies with management to ensure resolution
- Production of job costing summary for review with the finance team in identifying any highlights or opportunities that need further investigation
- Involvement in quarterly forecasting
Profile
- AAT qualified or equilavent
- Studying ACCA or CIMA
- Intermediate excel
- Able to commute to Worthing for 5 days a week in the office
