This role is expected to be a key contributor of the Reporting and Analytics team for the regional finance organization. The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:

The role will partner with the Regional finance leads, Local market teams / CEOs and the Regional CEO to evaluate and execute value-based contracts with OptumCare and other leading healthcare providers. The core responsibilities of the role will be to analyze healthcare data, develop quantitative models and provide financial reporting to accelerate and enhance our value-based contracting strategies. This role will work collaboratively with our National Finance team, as well as other functional teams to drive financial performance. This role requires strong communication skills, a drive to succeed, a desire to take on more responsibility, and an ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization. The role must be capable of operating with limited guidance and have the ability to work through complex business issues and ad hoc projects. The role must also be receptive to feedback / coaching and a good team player who can elevate the performance of the rest of the regional finance team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop financial forecasts and sensitivity analyses for potential value-based contracting opportunities with OptumCare and other leading healthcare providers
• Help develop and model various other financial scenarios to determine potential and likely outcomes
• Create reporting to enable key decision support at a local level
• Review and validate key assumptions and report quarterly forecasts for OptumCare and other provider group partners
• Help support and analyze arrangements with providers (capitation, ACO, other risk incentives).
• Distribute, review monthly and year-to-date financial results with market leaders
• Build ad-hoc reporting using member-level financial data and assist in daily ad hoc requests from management and market financial leads

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS in finance, accounting or related field
• 3 plus years of relevant financial and operational experience
• Financial modeling experience
• Exceptional financial acumen
• Minimum of Advanced skill level in MS Excel

• SAS Experience

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400.
