I am urgently looking to speak to interested candidates about a really exciting FP&A Accountant role for an International Charity based in Warwickshire.
Client Details
My Clients are an International Charity and are looking for someone to join them for a 16 month contract to assist with Financial Planning and a new System Implementation.
Description
The job holder will be a key support function to the UK Financial Planning & Analysis Manager helping to ensure high standards of financial controls are in place and ensuring financial compliance.
- Produce monthly group, charity and subsidiary management accounts and accompanying analysis and schedules to strict monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines.
- Support the financial components of the annual group Strategic Business Plan - to review, consolidate and analyse financial plans, budgets and forecasts as part of the rolling three-year business planning process.
- Provide budgeting and forecasting support to senior management, scrutinising and challenging as appropriate, to optimise the use of financial resources.
- Provide data, financial and trend analysis to support business decisions and financial strategy.
- Support the development of viable financial business models in fundraising and operational units to support adaptation to market developments and trends.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Deliver high standard management accounting and reporting for budget holders, senior management, board, donors etc.
Profile
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Relevant accounting and financial management experience specifically around financial plans, budgets and analysis
- Experience of working in a complex, multi-entity, multi-currency financial environment
- Ability to work in a highly pressured professional environment, keep organised, ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands on time.
- A high levels of resilience and tenacity: proven ability to overcome obstacles
- Strong excel, technical and accounting knowledge with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and forging cross-functional relationships at all levels
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in straightforward ways to non-specialists and across language and cultural barriers
