The Leader of Shared Services is responsible for directing the activities and driving the performance of the shared service group which currently includes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions. This position partners with and interacts very closely with the Business Teams, Accounting, Treasury, HR, and IT to optimize processes and services as well as identify and transition additional functions/services into the shared service center. The leader will develop a roadmap to lead the transformation, expand the scope and scale, embrace technology and new ways of working to expand service offerings and streamline operations.\n

Core Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership, supervision, training, and guidance to ensure the goals of the shared service accounting teams are achieved.
• Designs, implements, and maintains standardized processes for all functions within the shared service center in coordination with business units
• Coordinates with Business Units to analyze results in accordance with requirements to deliver timely month-end close.
• Establishes and tracks standardized metrics to analyze, interpret and communicate the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and provide actionable recommendations for improved performance.
• Communicates performance and results to senior leadership.
• Develops and executes the strategy and identifies future opportunities for optimization within the shared service center, increasing its scope as appropriate.
• Views opportunities for digitalization/innovation/automation to facilitate continuous improvement and enhancement. Is motivated to think outside-of-the-box, while holding themselves accountable to achieve desired results and outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with specific financial regulatory requirements such as US GAAP, internal controls, tax withholding management, payroll regs.
• Leads and implements projects to transition accounting and transaction processing roles from the business groups into the shared service center.
• Develops and maintains process documentation and guidelines.
• Responsible for development and career planning of the team.
• Manages budget and accompanying resources for shared service team.
• Effectively influences stakeholders to drive transformation and deliver anticipated results.
• Develops a strong focus on controls, ensuring compliance is at the heart of all shared service operations.
• Views data analytics as critical to decision-making; considers "what the data says" and leverages it to formulate plans and execute on then.

General Qualifications:
• Minimum ten (10) years of accounting experience in a shared service center environment including Minimum of five (5) years' management experience.
• Experience in managing financial transactional business services or shared services, process improvement and management of operational services delivery in a Finance function.
• Strong technology focus and financial systems and process improvement acumen.
• Demonstrated comfort level in building partnerships, driving improvement, and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders.
• Sound business acumen and the ability to think analytically, distill root cause and implement effective solutions.
• Understanding of dependent upstream and downstream activities that impact and are impacted by Finance function.

• Change management/transformative leadership - Implements change while maintaining organizational cohesiveness, meeting near-term operational goals.
• Knowledge of accounting / integrated ERP systems, Concur Invoice and, Purchasing Card Programs, functional knowledge of Concur T&E and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 products.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
