The successful candidate will be outgoing, ambitious, curious, and possess a desire to excel in public accounting. The position requires teamwork, camaraderie, and the ability to multitask, handling numerous priorities, while meeting our client’s needs and our firm’s expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax returns for C corps and flow-through taxation (S Corporations, Partnerships)
  • Prepare and review individual, trusts, and estate tax returns
  • Review payroll, sales and property tax returns
  • Prepare tax projections and other tax planning strategies
  • Respond to tax notices
  • Research tax issues
  • Handle multiple tasks while managing your schedule to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Evaluate skills and develop Managers, Seniors and Staff in client engagement management and technical expertise in individual, trust, partnership, corporate, federal, state tax returns, estimated payments and extensions, and federal and state tax audits.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Accounting or related field required
  • Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience required
  • CPA license required
  • Working knowledge of tax laws
  • Minimum of 3 years supervising and training experience
  • Subject matter expert in corporate, partnership, individual or trust and estate taxation required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism required
