An opportunity for an experienced FINANCIAL CLERK is required for permanent employment based in Zululand.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Company SARS returns (VAT, EMP201, Income tax etc)
- Company bookkeeping
- Reconciliation (debtors and creditors - monthly)
- Age analysis (debtors and creditors monthly)
- Cashbook processing.
- Cash flows report (forecast and actual)
- Local & forex preparation and submission of payments
- Reconciliations (Bank, petty cash, branches)
- Financial closing and reporting (monthly and quarterly)
- Financial year-end audit
- Completing and monitoring credit applications
- Prepare and process payroll documentation in collaboration with HR department
- Monthly recon of payroll costs
- Submissions (monthly returns to third parties; medical aid, retirement annuity etc)
- Financial recons of various projects
- Banks liaison
- Support, assist and support to the Finance Manager
- Health Safety Environment and Quality management of the company
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS
- Accounting (diploma / degree)
- Min 3 5 years exp in an financial role
- Matric
- SAP B1
- MS Office + Computer Literate
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good planning & organisational skills
