An opportunity for an experienced FINANCIAL CLERK is required for permanent employment based in Zululand.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Company SARS returns (VAT, EMP201, Income tax etc)
• Company bookkeeping
• Reconciliation (debtors and creditors - monthly)
• Age analysis (debtors and creditors monthly)
• Cashbook processing.
• Cash flows report (forecast and actual)
• Local & forex preparation and submission of payments
• Reconciliations (Bank, petty cash, branches)
• Financial closing and reporting (monthly and quarterly)
• Financial year-end audit
• Completing and monitoring credit applications
• Prepare and process payroll documentation in collaboration with HR department
• Monthly recon of payroll costs
• Submissions (monthly returns to third parties; medical aid, retirement annuity etc)
• Financial recons of various projects
• Banks liaison
• Support, assist and support to the Finance Manager
• Health Safety Environment and Quality management of the company

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS

• Accounting (diploma / degree)
• Min 3 5 years exp in an financial role
• Matric
• SAP B1
• MS Office + Computer Literate
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good planning & organisational skills
