This position reports into the Product Business Analyst group and will provide direct support for the Supply Chain team. In this role, you will provide analysis to stakeholders in Supply Chain, helping to guide strategic decisions and drive financial performance. You will partner with your team to accurately reflect the state of the business and provide meaningful financial benchmarks. You may provide ad hoc decision-making support for strategic initiatives and special projects. This position requires a high level of detail and ability to understand and identify anomalies, communicating findings to key stakeholders accurately and timely. This also requires a team member that is self-motivated, reliable, and conscientious with a thorough understanding of financial procedures and analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Forecasting, Planning and Budgeting

  • Assists in the development of long-range financial planning and annual budgets for the Supply Chain team
  • Builds financial models to support accurate planning and influence decision making
  • Supports P&L analysis and highlights key business drivers, risk and opportunities for business partners

Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze and articulate the "levers of profitability" of the business to provide a deeper understanding of key business drivers; provide analyses and clear recommendations to help drive toward company revenue and profit goals
  • Weekly & Monthly reporting on key business metrics for department leadership
  • Partner with the business to understand variances to forecast/budget, understand and relay ongoing implications

Support the planning/rollout of key Strategic Initiatives within Supply Chain

  • Perform scenario analysis, ROI analysis on capital projects and major operational spending

Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years business analysis, financial analysis and/or financial planning.
  • Business analysis experience with product marketing, sales operations, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, transportation or related role is preferred.
  • Understanding of financial and accounting concepts and procedures within a retail or manufacturing environment is required. Experience with forecasting and modeling is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise tools such as Microstrategy and SAP required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office, including skills with Word, Excel and Access is necessary.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure with minimal guidance, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-pace environment and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy and an inquisitiveness to determine explanations, with an ability to consolidate multiple sources of information/ analyses into a cohesive story/recommendation.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values are key attributes.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related, or equivalent experience is required.

Work Days:

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
