Project Integration Accountant

Chesterfield (with hybrid working)

Salary:
Circa £35,000 - negotiable depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified accountant to gain experience in our growing, evolving business as a Project Integration Accountant on a 6 month contract. You will be pivotal in helping our business integrate the recently acquired 'ChargedEV' business into a centralized centre of excellence model which has already been established. ChargedEV was acquired in July 2021 by our Redde Northgate business. The acquisition will compliment the work we are already undertaking to position us to support our customers' transition from internal combustion engines (ICE) to electric vehicles.

Redde Northgate plc is a leading integrated mobility solutions business, providing mobility solutions and automotive services to businesses and customers spanning the vehicle life cycle across vehicle supply, service, maintenance, repair, recovery, accident and incident management and disposal through sale or salvage.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Responsibility of all Finance transactional activity within the Charged EV business

• Interface between the business and the commercial finance team.

• Moving finance activity into the defined centralized finance model

• Documentation of all finance processes using standard methodologies (Swim lane as an example)

• Assessment of effort to Redde Northgate business

• Assessment of where and how we transition finance activity within the current Organisational Design

• Proposal Document produced on how integrations of this type are integrated going forward

• Accurate and timely reporting of Charged EV trial balance each month end by WD5

• Calculation and Submission of Charged EV VAT return into Group Finance

• All ad hoc finance project related activity

About you

• You will be part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent

• Work to a high level of detail and accuracy

• Excellent Excel Skills

• Meeting tight reporting deadlines without compromising accuracy

• The ability to work on own or part of a team

• The ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and prioritize work accordingly

• Business Integration experience - desirable
