Finance Manager - Europe

Your new company
I am working with a global reinsurance business looking to hire a Finance Manager to join the business in the European division. This is an innovative, forward thinking business which is leading from the front within the industry in terms of culture and work life balance.

Your new role
This is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:

• Supporting the business with technical accounting analyses to help optimise new product offerings and their profitability.
• Supporting USGAAP delivery project including supporting project teams, systems and process testing and implementation and management of stakeholders.
• Preparation and review of submissions for annual five year plan process.
• Support systems and accounting policy change projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven post qualification experience in technical insurance accounting roles. You will need strong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP reporting standards and the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will need strong excel and be comfortable in working across both finance and non-finance.
