We are looking for a Bookkeeping Client Manager to join a professional Bookkeeping and Business Advisory with the head office located in Melbourne. We are looking for a Bookkeeping Client Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the same or similar role. This is not the traditional Bookkeeping Manager role, This is a permanent Full-Time role with an attractive salary of $80,000 - $95,000 per annum.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Communicate, report, perform account management to client portfolio and stakeholders
  • BYO Management Meetings
  • Client billing
  • Sales - new clients
  • Attending Client meetings, listening to their pain points, helping resolve their issues and to help
  • Help clients with strategic client meetings, client software selection, business mentoring
  • Oversee and consulting for Regulatory compliance to include: IAS, BAS, TPAR, JobMaker, Payroll Tax, Workcover, Superannuation
  • Recruitment of staff
  • Leadership/mentoring of your dedicated team of 5 accountants who process the work to your client portfolio
  • Train and develop the technical skills of your direct reports helping and teaching them with all aspects of bookkeeping and payroll processing
  • Mentoring your team to be the best version of themselves
  • Conducting your team members bi-annual performance reviews
The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:
  • 5 years of experience in the same or similar role
  • Have an Accounting Degree/BAS Agent
  • Project Management and leadership skills
  • Self Motivated and Pro-active
  • Ability to carry out Financial Reporting
  • Have experience with the following systems, Xero, Google Suite, XBert, Fathom, Practise Protect, Microsoft Office, Slack, Dext
  • Linked Reporting
